About

I am a big advocate for technical effective possession based soccer. I use my experiences from traveling and hardship to draw up my own interpretation of the game. I love to discus soccer in the US and different models from around the world.

Currently as the Director of a Junior Academy, I vow to change development from what I have seen from so called established youth clubs.  My under 14 team which I will write a lot about can one day make me so proud and the next day be the definition of the new soft generation of youth soccer.

I coached academy last year with the  U-16  team and contrary to popular belief there isn’t much difference between academy and club. Not yet at least.

I was a four-year member of a Top-25 D I team which at one point was ranked as high as No. 6. I kept the dream of playing after school alive and continued on to play semi-professional levels in Italy.

I had a long stretch of injuries that I battled with but as I grew older I learned my body better and was able to prepare myself season after season even after 5 + surgeries so I like to talk about physical preparation as well.

I believe playing and staying healthy for as long as you can at the highest possible level helps you become a better coach and I think that was the case with me. Traveling and experiencing different cultures and styles of play, as well as working with a variety of established coaches, help you to blend your own ideas of the game.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management.
